PRO TECHnology’s portfolio of new age hard drives from LaCie of France the Mobile Security Hard drive with finger print access and the Apple Ipod nano has drawn overwhelming visitor response at Gitex 2005, directly resulting in a huge boost in sales.
PRO TECHnology, being the leading IT-related company in the region, had a strong presence at GITEX, the largest IT exhibition in the Middle East, which concluded recently at the Dubai World Trade Center, where it participated in partnership with its authorized distributors. The PRO TECH pavilion had attracted a significantly large number of visitors during the five-day exhibition. The highlight of PRO TECHnology’s participation at Gitex was the launching of LaCie Safe Mobile Hard Drive with fingerprint access, which safely store and transport your private data on the Hard Drive.
The other product that was a star on the show was the newest Apple Ipod Nano that holds up to 1,000 songs and full-color album art, only 3.5 x 1.6 x 0.27 inches and 1.5 ounces, bright 1.5-inch color LCD display.
The response to Lacie’s new Safe Mobile Hard drive and other devices of Lacie was overwhelming and in fact exceeded our expectations from the show, said Fatiha Abdou, International Sales Account Manager of LaCie France. While on the other hand, Ipod nano was sold out within the first two days of the event.

We have witnessed the significant jump in sales, which indicates the increasing demand for hard drives, accessories, mobile computing and other critical computer components in the fast growing Middle East market.’ said Mr. Jamal H.
