PRO TECHnology, a leading provider of storage, backup, digital archiving, business and mobility solutions, has announced that it will be making its debut at the 12th Middle East International Cable, Satellite, Broadcast and Communications Exhibition (CABSAT) 2006 to be held from March 7-9, 2006 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center.
During the exhibition, PRO TECHnology will be showcasing a range of broadcast and production solutions that will help the region’s broadcasters manage the transition to new digital formats, including Apple’s Final Cut Pro 5, Small Tree Communications, Storageflex and NEXSAN’s SATA Beast. Visitors to the show will be able to get hands first view of Final Cut Pro 5, which delivers powerful and precise editing tools that work with virtually any format, from DV and native HDV to fully uncompressed HD. As the first choice for professional editors everywhere, Final Cut Pro 5 supports intuitive integration with other Apple professional video and audio applications.The company will also be highlighting Small Tree Communication’s high performance networking and video solution dedicated to providing unique leading edge enterprise networking solutions to the Mac and PC.PRO TECHnology’s other digital asset management technology exhibit at CABSAT includes NEXSAN’s SATA Beast, an enterprise-class storage array, which is built around Serial ATA disk drives and is designed to deliver the highest performance and utmost cost effectiveness in a single, scalable solution ideal for data-intense storage applications such as online archiving and disk-based backup. The Storage and Digital Archiving division of the company will demonstrate the Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions named Cumulus 6.6 from Canto of Germany who is partner of PRO TECHnology.
