PRO TECHnology Co LLC, a pioneer in backup, disaster recovery and high availability solutions in the Middle East and North Africa, announced that it has been appointed as an Elite partner of VERITAS Software, the world’s largest storage software company.

Under the terms of the alliance between the two companies, PRO TECHnology will offer the entire suite of VERITAS High Availability and Back Up solutions to its enterprise customers and channel partners in the region. PRO TECHnology will also extend its professional services to the VERITAS customers in the GCC and Levant, liaising with VERITAS Consulting UK. This partnership is an advanced level of enhancement of skills related to online, offline and application specialization by PRO TECHnology in terms of training, marketing and supporting the VERITAS solutions from its previous level of partnership as a Premier partner.
“The VERITAS Partner Program consists of three levels: Select, Premier and Elite. The Select level is the entry-level, for partners focusing on small to medium workgroup solutions. Premier partners are those focusing on medium to large enterprise solutions, and Elite partners are those focusing on VERITAS high-end solutions,” said Mike Hynes, Regional Manager, VERITAS Software Middle East.
