PRO TECHnology announces its partnership with Small Tree Communications

Small Tree Communications, the industry leader in providing high-performance networking solutions for Mac OS X, has named PRO TECHnology as its exclusive distributor in the Middle East region.

The announcement, which was made during The Media & Marketing Show in Dubai further strengthens Small Tree’s global positioning among networking professionals.

For the past several years, Small Tree Communications has developed products that have enabled Apple to increase its reach in the high-performance, supercomputing market. Through the introduction of its InfiniBand technology, 10 Gigabit Ethernet Cards, 802.3ad Link Aggregation, Multi-port Gigabit Copper Ethernet Cards and Fiber Optic Ethernet Cards, more and more IT professionals are turning to Apple computers for its clustering capabilities. In fact, Virginia Tech University currently utilizes Small Tree’s InfiniBand technology with its Apple cluster at the Terascale Computing Facility, one of the world’s Top 15 supercomputer sites.
