Direct Color Systems, a US-based engineering and manufacturing small-format, direct-to-substrate UV LED inkjet printers, announced the availability of their latest model, the 1800z in the MENA region during the recently concluded SGI expo in Dubai.
The 1800z UV-LED has the ability to print up to 304.8 mm (12”) width x 600 mm (24”) length. The machine’s design takes into consideration years of valuable customer and technician feedback with regard to the UVMVP series printers.
The printer will be marketed, sold and supported by PRO TECHnology, the regional distributor for Direct Color System in the MENA region.

Adding on the same, Jamal Maraqa, Managing Director at PRO TECHnology said that “single pass texture printing & clear ink opens up hosts of application for Marketing Gifts & Souvenir industry. In-fact it is probably the only digital UV printer of its kind which is certified for ADA (American Disability Act) Braille printing.”
